On July 20, 1997, Sundeep Gupta joined DESMA India as a service engineer for North and East India and was stationed in Delhi.
In 2000, he was given the responsibility of sales and marketing of DESMA products for North and East India along with managing the Delhi office.

– Assumed responsibility for sales and marketing for Western India in addition to existing duties in 2007.
– Assumed responsibility for sales and marketing in Southeast Asia and reassigned responsibility for Western India in 2012.
