DESMA in fast motion:
1966 & 1967 – shoe mold construction is on a ‘happy upward trend’, the workforce has already grown to 50 employees and so the production hall is expanded to 1,500 square meters earlier than planned.
Initially, MAF supplies finished parts and shoe mold components to the DESMA plant in Achim. Then the reorientation takes place – design manager E. Stengelin establishes mechanical engineering as a further and – as will soon become apparent – successful business segment.
