DESMA delivers another large machine
Another large machine with a clamping force of 13,500 kN and a shot volume of 22,900 cm³ at 2,050 bar injection pressure has been completed and is now ready to travel across the pond.
The BENCHMARK clamping system enables an enormous clamping width of over 3,000 mm and a clamping stroke of over 2,000 mm with a heating plate top edge height of only 1,150 mm.
This machine will be used to manufacture special seals for the infrastructure sector, and multi-cavity molds with cold runners will be used. The heating plate dimensions are 1,500 mm x 1,500 mm, and the total weight of this machine is around 80,000 kg.
