46 years of DESMA. A farewell with standing ovations.
Yesterday evening, our stand party at the K-Messe 2025 turned into a special moment: we bid farewell to Harald Schmid, our long-standing General Sales Manager and valued colleague, as he entered his well-deserved retirement.
After 46 years of dedication, leadership, and passion, the trade fair was his last official appearance—and we celebrated him together with customers, partners, and companions.
A special highlight: Three former sales colleagues, themselves already retired, surprised Harald and insisted on toasting him personally.
In a great atmosphere, with lots of conversation and a culinary classic – his favorite Black Forest cake – we reminisced, laughed, and celebrated.
