1965 – after successful site selection and a seven-month construction period, Maschinenfabrik Fridingen (MAF) starts production in the 200 square meter factory hall in Fridingen an der Donau on December 1, 1965.
Walter Schatz is the man of the first hour, who as Managing Director is tasked with setting up the DESMA subsidiary. He is supported by his first employee.
