DESMA at the IPF 2008 in Tokyo
|
With almost 1,000 exhibitors and 66,000 trade visitors the IPF (International Plastic Fair) in Tokyo ranks among the most important shows for plastics and elastomer technology in Japan. DESMA presented its latest developments such as the FlowControl cold runner technology as well the FlowControl+ nozzle technique to reduce cure time dynamically.
This method allows to control the injection gap flexibly, depending on the injection profile, right at the machine control. This enables a monitored and controlled energy input aiming at a considerable reduction of the vulcanisaton times. savings range between 10 % and 50 % while it can be reduced even more in individual cases.
Furthermore, the other innovations from the DESMA mould shop and application technology met with great response. Particularly the possiblities of saving material along with improving productivity at the same time were intensely discussed. For this purpose, DESMA provides highly efficient cold runner systems e. g. for the 2-deck production. This way, productivity can almost be doubled with existing machines while reducing waste simultaneously.
Our Japanese sales office Soghoplan headed by Mr Saito was actively supported by Mr Scheibe (DESMA Germany) and Mr Lokagariwar (DESMA China/ India).
During this 5-day exhibition 66,000 attendees from Japan and 4,000 international visitors were registered.
The next IPF show will take place in three years (25. - 28. November 2011).
