Better than expected...
|
was the outcome of the Interplastica 2009 in Moscow. Despite the overall difficult economic situation, surprisingly many interested visitors and customers let themselves be informed about the latest developments in machine and application technology at the DESMA booth.
The showcased D 968.160 ZO with FlowControl cold runner system and a mould to produce seals made of paste silicone (HTV) met with great interest among the specialist audience. Particularly the saving potentials relating to raw materials due to the intelligent use of cold runner systems were often discussed.
Despite the strong slump in the automotive industry, projects for other industrial sectors are still being pursued
Due to its strategic orientation as supplier of turnkey production systems, DESMA has acquired an excellent reputation in the Russian Federation that is now of course the basis for the further promising market development. On the occasion of this show, the exhibited D 968.160 ZO was sold to a Russian client from the electrical industry. This is already the 3rd machine delivered to this customer.
All in all, the present state of economy is regarded as difficult, but a distinct pick up of business is expected for 2009. This assessment is corroborated by the good visitor turnout throughout the Interplastica 2009.
