Safe and easy process control through extensive equipment and logical user prompting

DRC 2020 HT

New operating panel, DRC 2020 HT

Feel what is happening – with the new DRC 2020 HT visualisation

Featuring a massive 19” high format screen, this system opens up a new chapter in simplified and logical control of rubber injection moulding machines. A new user prompting and the perfect display of processes set new standards.

The operating panel is the first to integrate a Haptic-Touch screen which provides users not only with visual information, but also "touch" feedback.

It effectively makes the man-machine interface much smaller.

When redesigning the screen pages, the programmers concentrated on creating a logical user prompting and on the simple display of even complex subjects. Thus, for example, the entry of function sequences (Fx-series) has been greatly simplified and much improved, especially for concurrent movements of several pumps.

By way of graphically animated machine subassemblies, logical interconnections of the entry masks are established. The system is very user intuitive.

The new DRC 2020 HT operating panel is suitable for retrofitting to machine generations with DRC 1210 and DRC 2010 visualisation systems. This means the state-of-the-art in control technologies is also available for existing units.

DRC 1210

The control generation DRC 1210

DESMA developed an exceptionally high-capacity control system with the new DRC 1210. The DRC 1210 safely closed-loop controls not only complex machines and processes, but also features an excellent ease of operation.

The performance features of the DESMA control DRC 1210 include the complete closed-loop control of the movements of the clamping unit and of the whole injection process as well as comprehensive intermediate stop functions of core lifter movements. The DRC 1210 controls are equipped as a standard with a modem for remote diagnosis and data storage on flash card and USB data stick.

Facts about the DRC 1210

DRC 1210

Cross-platform data management with the new DRC 2010

With the innovative control concept DRC 2010, DESMA has made an investment into the future of process automation. The intuitive user prompting and the 15"-touch-screen display allow for the operator to be quickly led to the right place by means of conclusive symbols. With maximally three clicks the lowest operating level is reached. The latest DRC 2010 control technology represents even complex processes with handling units very clearly. Data can be freely selected and are constantly shown in the sidebar. An extensive process graphics is also part of the standard equipment. DESMA provides optionally cure time calculator (DESCure), CAS interface and networking with the TIG system. A FTP server solution is available to network existing systems. A OPC interface for data exchange is also feasible.
