S3 first-time showing in India

The BENCHMARK S3 machine series has now celebrated its first-time showing in India. Our subsidiary Klöckner DESMA Machinery Pvt. Ltd. in India launched the latest SIGMA S3 series machine at Plastindia 2012.
New features like ServoGear hydraulics for power efficiency and DRC 1020 fully closed-loop control for accurate process control were appreciated by the visitors.
At the DESMA booth around 500 rubber and plastic industry people met, among them also international visitors coming from Middle East, Iran, Africa and Southeast Asia. DESMA India generated a lot of new inquiries for electrical, infrastructure and automotive projects.
"Go Green" was the main driver for many companies and DESMA with S3 series suited well in this atmosphere. DESMA displayed cold runner block and also presented information about various CRB and cold ITM pot solutions, which can be offered for saving material wastage and improving the process economics. Many customers showed keen interest in these DESMA systems.
Some competitors displayed their totally defeaturised machine, while DESMA was showing the futuristic technologies and machine design.
